5. Plugin Services, Cloud Optimization and Payment Processing

Freemius (Payment and License Management) We use Freemius as our Merchant of Record to handle secure payments, subscription management, and license verification. When you purchase our plugin, your payment and billing information is processed directly by Freemius. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (contract fulfillment).

Cloud Image Optimization and AI Services (Proxy Server & OpenAI) If you use the premium cloud features of our plugin, images are temporarily transmitted to our secure proxy server for compression. To generate AI based Alt texts and titles, necessary data is sent to OpenAI.

  • Images are processed dynamically and are not stored permanently on our servers or by OpenAI.

  • Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (contract fulfillment for providing the optimization service).
